RGN Intercontinental II:  NA & EU Tournament

 
RGN is pleased to announce that registration for the RGN Intercontinental II Online Tournament is now open! We here at RGN would like to officially invite our fellow European CSGO Players, by opening our second European tournament alongside our fifth North American event. Thanks to CEVO’s support, we have a reliable system to host this event with many server locations to choose from. Team registration will remain open until Tuesday, March 11th at 11:59 PM PST (08:59 CET).

When: March 12th, 2015 to March 31st, 2015

Tournament Details

- $20.00 entree fee per player ($100.00 per team)
- Double Elimination (Bo3 UB) (Bo1 LB except LB Finals)
- Minimum of 2 matches played
- 16 teams minimum, with a max of 8 players 5 + 3 ringers per team Rosters lock for stand-ins or ringers to be added after Round of 4 of the Upper Bracket. Special circumstances may require the approval of the opposing team)
- No Forfeiting after a team has reached 15 rounds won.
- Team Captain must join the RGN Tournament Steam Group (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/rgntournament)
- contact an RGN admin by adding a moderator of the RGN Tournament Steam Group before forfeiting a team that has not responded in the match comm.
- Consistently check the RGN Tournament Steam Group for scheduling updates, round delays, or general information.
- Teams must have a Logo with a transparent background in a .png format
- Standard CEVO CS:GO rules and map pool
- Coverage by www.twitch.tv/goRGNtv

Entry Fee and Prize Pool
The entry fee per team is $100.00 per team or $20 per player. As teams register, the prize pool (after costs and fees) will be updated daily on the tournament event page. Teams must have at least 5 players paid in order to have a “ready” status and their spots reserved in the tournament.

 

Prize Pool and Breakdown:

  • 1st Place:   50%
  • 2nd Place:  35%
  • 3rd Place:   15%


Map Pool
This tournament will be using the official CEVO map pool. Team captains will veto inside of the CEVO CS:GO Client.

Event Schedule (based on 32 team bracket)
Upper bracket teams will have +24hrs to schedule their match from default time. Lower bracket teams must have their matches completed before the start of the following round or face a possible disqualification. The dates below represent the deadline for each round, matches can be played days before those dates. They also represent the default time, If teams cannot agree on a date and time to play, it will be automatically scheduled to the dates below.
